Rolland C. “R.C.” Thompson | PRESIDENT / CEO
RC served 26 years in the U.S. Navy and four years in the Army. Some of his many assignments and positions included: “Exec” to the Commander, U.S. Strategic Command; Commander of an Operational Carrier Air Wing and the Strike Warfare Commander for Operation Enduring Freedom; Commanding Officer of TOPGUN; Director of Training at the Naval Strike and Air Warfare Center (NSAWC); Operational Command of an F/A-18 squadron; and a tour of duty as a Deputy Director on the Navy Staff dealing with fleet requirements and the budget process. His aviation experience also includes two instructor tours at the Navy Fighter Weapons School (Top Gun) and over 6,500 total flight hours to include 5,500 in fighter aircraft, 1,200 carrier landings while achieving full qualifications in the F/A-18, F-14, F-16, A-7, A-4, and AH-1, with additional experience in the L-29, Mig-17/21 and Mig-29. RC was designated an Army Aviator at the age of 19 and has completed three combat deployments since that time. RC earned a BS degree in Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, a MS in National Security Strategy from the National War College, and an EMBA from the University of Nebraska.
Gerald S. “Spud” Gallop | CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
Gerry is currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Tactical Air Support, Inc., responsible for overseeing the contract and operational execution of the company’s Air Operations and Consulting Divisions. His flying responsibilities have included extensive commercial air services support operations, and in 2008 he was one of the first two western civilian pilots to become fully Instructor Pilot-qualified in the Sukhoi Su-27. His military career in aircraft carrier fighter aviation spanned twenty years, following graduation from the United States Naval Academy in 1980. His operational assignments included pilot tours aboard four different aircraft carriers, flying F-4 Phantoms, F-14 Tomcats, and the F/A-18 Hornet. He served as the commanding officer of a fleet Hornet squadron and the head of the Navy Fighter Weapons School (TOPGUN).
Archie Rippeto | VICE PRESIDENT, FLIGHT OPERATIONS
Archie previously served as the Site Manager for the Lockheed Martin Simulation Training and Support (LMSTS) F-15 Combat Air-to-Air Training contract at Kingsley Field, Oregon. Prior to joining LMSTS, Archie served 22 years in the U.S. Air Force. His many assignments and positions included: Commander of the 19th Tactical Fighter Squadron, Operations Officer of the 54th Tactical Fighter Squadron, Chief of F-15 Conversion at the 173rd Fighter Wing, F-22 Project Officer and Director of Operations and Instructor at the F-15 Fighter Weapons School (FWS). His Aviation experience also includes an instructor tour at USAF FWS and over 3,000 hours in the F-15A/B/C/D. He has additional experience in the Su-27, T-33 and L-29. He is currently a CFI, CFII, and MEI. He has a BS degree in Civil Engineering from the United States Air Force Academy and attended Air Command and Staff College.
Andrew "Oscar" Gamble I CHIEF STAFF OFFICER
“Oscar” serves as Chief Staff Officer for TacAir and is responsible to the CEO for all aspects of business operations. He has held positions throughout TacAir including Senior Warfare Analyst, Project Manager, Tactics Director, and Assistant Vice President for Administrative Services. A 20 year Navy Veteran, as an Electronic Counter Measures Officer (ECMO) he has over 2,000 flight hours of operational and test experience in the EA-6B, F/A-18, F-16, and F-15. In 2003, Andrew was awarded the “Information Operations Individual Award” from the Association of Old Crows for his leadership as Suppression of Enemy Air Defense (SEAD) Chief in the Combined Air Operations Center during Operation Iraqi Freedom. He earned a Master of Science (CERT) in Aviation Systems degree from University of Tennessee Space Institute, a Masters of Arts degree in National Security Affairs from the Naval Postgraduate School, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Scott Gallagher | CHIEF COMMERCIAL OFFICER
Scott currently serves as TacAir’s Chief Commercial Officer, coordinating our domestic services and business development center. His 21-year career in the US Navy culminated in operational command of an F/A-18C squadron, 3600 flight hours and 600 carrier landings, aboard six different aircraft carriers. He is a graduate of TOPGUN’s Strike Fighter Tactics Instructor course, served three tours as an instructor pilot, and deployed overseas six times while in the Navy. Scott then managed municipal and state government aviation programs prior to joining TacAir in 2012, where he has since held positions as a Senior Tactical Systems Analyst, Consulting Business Development Director, and Director of Consulting. He holds a BS in Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
Rocklyn “Rocky” Schweser | CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Mr. Schweser serves as the Chief Financial Offer for TacAir and is responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting activities including strategic planning and risk management. Mr. Schweser has 24 years of financial and accounting management including International experience in France, Switzerland, Luxembourg and the United Kingdom.
Mr. Schweser has formerly served as SITEL’s Director of Finance for the Financial and Consumer/Energy Business Units in which he was responsible for all financial activities for these groups with combined revenues of $175M annually.
Mr. Schweser holds a Master of Business Administration degree with a Finance concentration and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.
